Basil Tree - Dixon

Obviously this place is very popular at sold out tables for hours. We were invited to dine at the bar and that was a big decision. Megan took care of us and made us feel at home, she is great. The dishes and drinks are delicious and the staff was very friendly. Megan even let us know it could come a tapas-style dunning experience to the super amazing outdoor area. Would be so excited to try and run this restaurant again, thanks for a wonderful experience!

Very nice Italian restaurant with really beautiful atmosphere. Historic building with fun hidden below in the private dining area. Owner is wonderful. Food is fantastic! Great discovery in our travels.

Excellent dining atmosphere, service and delicious food! The special was great, the minenstrone soup was hot and delicious, and the Tuxedo Cake was fantastic!

Absolutely wonderful! Our waiting staff was great, very happy and thorough. Food was excellent. Desserts were fantastic. A little expensive for us, but we go back.

Service was awesome. Our server checked on us often and was very friendly. Both meals were very very good. We no longer have a need to drive to the Quad-cities or Rockford for authentic Italian cuisine.
