I visited Nagameez in November 2016 for a dinner one night....I love the Naga food in it....Ethnic assamese foods are also served....Special discount for students are available....a good resturant with reasonable price....all age group can visit for some awesome food...I mostly liked the pork dry fry

Had a lunch in this restaurant. The quality of food is awesome specially the pork item. I have ordered smoked pork curry with bamboo shoots which was very fresh and yummie. Would appreciate if they open some more branches near Beltola.

A nice restt located at a 5 minute drive from guwahati Railway station. Tasty food that does not hit your pocket hard. The interiors too have been very tastefully done up.

All of a sudden, Naga cuisine seems to be the favourite cuisine of Guwahati. And Nagameez happens to be one of the newer additions to this trend. After hearing much about this place, we checked into the place, for lunch. After scanning the menu, we decided to settle for the most-sought after ones. Pork Momo, Pork Chops, Pork Curry with Bamboo shoot and Plain rice. Yeah, talk of being a pork lover. The momos were better than most of the places, serving the same. Thin enclosure with succulent minced pork meat, spiced mildly, made the momos quite a delectable option in the menu. And the same goes for the Pork chops. Cooked to perfection, mildly spiced, the texture was a compliment to the taste buds. Though I would have preferred it a bit spicier, but then wasn't really disappointed with it. But the Pork Curry was a bit of a downer. Here, I was left asking for a bit of more bamboo shoot flavour. And without the pronounced bamboo shoot flavour, to me, it was just another pork curry. More so, the curry didn't have much of a flavour that would drag me to the place, for a second time. But what really disappointed me was the service. Not only it took them quite some time to serve the food, but I found the person, handling the bill quite arrogant and almost on the verge of being rude. Yes, we all are facing one problem or the other due to the demonetisation. But that doesn't give the person, if he/she happens to be in the hospitality, the liberty to be rude to the patrons. Quite a disappointment! So, if Nagameez happens to up its service, chances are it be favoured by many more in the town.
