Bidrage med feedbackAhoy served up the very best fish and chips I've ever had! It came highly recommended while I was looking at food options in Dingle so I decided I had to check it out. Ahoy operates out of a small trailer and when we came by around lunch time the line was just starting to pick up. There is very limited seating, only about 3 picnic tables, but I managed to snag one while we were waiting for our food. My partner and I decided to share one order of fish and chips which was the right move because the servings are pretty big size. When they called our order number you could see them scooping the fish and chips right out of the oil and into our takeaway plate, so it definitely comes hot and fresh. The batter on the fish was SO GOOD. It was crispy with a great taste, and the fish itself couldn't have tasted fresher. The chips were great too, we ate every single last crumb on the plate and left feeling extremely satisfied and ready to explore more of Dingle. Overall, it was a perfect meal. Ahoy fish and chips is a must try in Dingle!

Pouring with rain but this coffee brightened my day. Best flat white ever
We had done a bit of research regarding where we wanted to eat while we were in Ireland, and Dingle Ahoy is one spot that we read some pretty good reviews about. We stopped here for dinner after a long day of sight seeing. Service was pretty quick, although everything was cooked after I ordered, so it wasn 't fast food by any means, but it was definitely fresh. Ironically...they have a sign out front that says top 5 on trip advisor , and the cart next to them has number 1 fish and chips in Dingle. Well. I disagree, wholeheartedly, because we tried both, and Dingle Ahoy 's fish and chips were far superior! A huge portion of fish, its nice and crispy, and not greasy at all. The fish to batter ratio was excellent. Dingle Ahoy is tied for the best fish and chips we 've ever eaten (after traveling around ireland and scotland for a month, plus what we eat here at home. HIGHLY recommend checking out Dingle Ahoy!!
Stop by during a tour. Cute little trailer in the down town area near the pier and dolphin statue. Ordered the fish burger to go. Nice crunchy brioche bun, fluffy inside, excellent flavor. Fish was the star of the sandwich! Nice thick chunk of fish, lightly coated and fried. Slight light crunch outside and creamy and soft, tasty inside. Very fresh fish. Few greens on there as well as 2 slices of pickle and a tad bit of mayo. Very enjoyable! Would most definitely would stop by again! Wish them good business.
