Bidrage med feedbackWe came to dinner on a Sunday evening and we are glad that they were not only open, but that we had a nice meal. we had soulbark, steak, salmon, and the burger of the chef who contained goat cheese and honey. the food was nice... prepared and the waiting staff was very helpful and friendly. the interior decor is a little “eighty vibe”, but no matter what eating was nice! the weather would have been warmer to eat outside would have been nice.
Restaurant/Brasserie Longueville is part of the Hotel Challonge where we have stayed. The restaurant is quite smart with a pleasant ambience. There was a good range and quality of food at reasonable prices. During our stay in Dinan we also ate at Le Duchesse Anne...which is across the car park from Longueville and also at Le 1 de la Place which is at the bottom of the town, both were reasonable places to eat.
Located in the center of Dinan, under the Hotel Le Challonge, this restaurant is quite nice and pleasant. Simple but good dishes is perhaps the way to describe this restaurant. The service is helpfull, professional and efficient.
Many restaurants seem to have moved to galettes/crepes menu but somehow this restaurant has struck a balance between this and fine dining and is well worth a visit. A comprehensive menu at reasonable prices in lovely surroundings with helpful staff. What more do you want,...cheap wine!!
It was a bit tricky to find an open restaurant on Monday's evening in Dinan. Our friend who lives in the summer in Dinan, suggested we went to Le Longueville. He added that he dined once there and it was a decent place to eat....By entering restaurant we were greeted by a lovely lady and accompanied to the table. They offer a few types of menu: business, set and other. Our friends decided to go for set menu: 3 courses for 27 euros. My partner and I chose from a la carte menu. My partner has a nice platter of see food. I nicked a few crevettes from his plate. They were nicely cooked. I didn't have a starter and ordered the scallops in butter in white wine sauce as a main. I fairly enjoyed my scallops, only I found that a served selection of cooked veggies wasn't not perfectly selected. My partner had a steak which should had been thinner according to his words. He told me that it was ok in general. One of our friends had a duck breast, which was juicy and tasty. She loved it. Later I had a lovely burnt creme creme brulee. My partner enjoyed a platter of four dessert, and our friend enjoyed a selection of tasty French cheeses. I would like to say that I liked a fact, that we didn't need to ask for extra bread or tap water on the table. A waiter used to bring more once we ate the bread and drunk a water. We had a pleasant dinner with a decent food and service.
