South Riley's Tavern - Dewitt

We arrived with a sizable group and eagerly high expectations, and the kitchen certainly delivered. The food was served hot, generous in portion sizes, and reasonably priced. We will definitely be returning. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

This is a bar/store that hasn't changed much in 30 years. Great food. I got the bacon cheeseburger.

South Riley is a hidden gem! If you like little out-of-the-way bars with delicious food this is your place! Walk through the little convenience store into the bar behind it, cheap beer on draft and regulars at the bar. All the food is good and reasonably priced but South Riley may have the best Olive Burger and onion rings in the state!

Seriously? I'm 63. Been aware of south Riley for 40 of them. George owns it. A damn good hombre. He was my commanding officer in the battle of The Midlife Bulge offensive. Threw himself on a cheese burger deluxe. Sacrificing his caloric intake so that I might live. Live to get an authentic South Riley burger these days in honor of George's sacrifice. Clogging his arteries with the best damn burger that is still available to civilized man! Go there. Eat one. Call me a liar. George's ghost works most days, still. Say hi for me.

Burgers are huge, gizzard are good and side portions are big, suggest you order half, be patient waiting for your food.
