Grotto Pizza - Dewey Beach

There were countless restaurants along the Rehoboth Boardwalk, but we chose this one because of its spacious outdoor patio. Plus, I couldn’t pass up the chance to try Grotto Pizza!

The pizza and calzone were really disappointing. However, I'm giving this place 2 stars for their grotto-style house wings. That sauce is incredible! They should really focus more on their chicken dishes.

I don't believe anyone in this state has ever experienced a Margarita worth mentioning. This place barely deserves more than one star.

I consider the pizza to be just average, but I have a fondness for it that comes from nostalgia. Eating at Grotto reminds me of our beach days! The experience here can be inconsistent. I do feel for the staff during the late-night hours, dealing with all the rowdy partygoers, but they handle it well and keep the atmosphere lively.
