The old brewery in Dettenheim is a small but fine place.We drove here with the Navi and it led us over a couple of strange, unsealed streets. However, finding the way was not difficult.From the outside you can easily see the restaurant using a large banner. There are no customer parking spaces here, but we still have parking spaces at the edge of the road, because not so much was going on.About the courtyard you finally get to the covered area, which leads to the toilets on the left or to the right to the entrance of the restaurant.We were here only this year, I think in summer it will be cozy to sit in the yard in good weather. We had to sit inside because of the cold. In the restaurant itself there are tables and seats opposite the entrance door. There are not many of them, but it makes a cozy impression. On the right of the entrance door there is a wooden fireplace that makes the living room feel perfect. On the left of the entrance there is the thresen with the door to the kitchen.We were here with several people to eat and had previously reserved a table.If you look into the menu you can see that there is not so much choice, however, it is priceless everything is completely within the frame.I chose a champignon carving with croquettes. There were two carvings with sauce on a plate, the croquettes were placed on a second plate. The portion was in any case very neat and also tastefully there is nothing to expose here, it was really incredibly tasty.We entertained briefly with the owner of the place, an older gentleman who is really very nice.The only thing I didn't find so good was that the toilet rooms were not heated, it was really incredibly icy here and there was also no warm water, you had to step in winter with ice water to wash your hands and Jackson shouldn.

Otherwise I can recommend the old brewery.

Very nice service, very good food. The chickens here are great. Get off very often here, but also always like to eat here. The prices are comprehensible and the atmosphere is very cozy.
