Wolfgang Puck Steakhouse - MGM Grand Detroit

Holy cow, where do I begin?! It was Thanksgiving and my husband and I were invited to join 2 friends of ours for dinner at Wolfgang Puck Steakhouse in MGM

Highly, highly overrated. The best part of the meal was the cornbread in the bread basket.

Wolfgang is a favorite when we are in DetroitIt's a beautiful, classy place, and the food is delicious.

The atmosphere was good, the noise level was ok, the food was missing. The service was very good, nice waiters and reception! The sweetness of the sauces in our Mexican food was very different and not good! Even the salsa for the fries was more like spaghetti, how do you mess up something simple like salsa ??? We think the worst was the enchilada sauce, sweet sauce, cinnamon doesn't go with enchiladas, I don't care if it's California, it doesn't taste good, sorry !!!!!!

Amazing salsa !! Great service and a fun environment !!! But they need better cooks with more than one style of cooking who know how NOT to overcook all the meat they offer. ALL dishes taste very similar! All with burnt burn marks on "whatever" meat, mixed with similar spices and all well done to finish cooking. The burned cremation, like a fajitas, but for every dish? This is the second time that I had to come here with the same results ... I refuse the next time I am invited ... Maybe have a drink because the mood is good and fun ... she just need better cooks ...
