Buddy's Pizza Downtown Detroit

I recently had one of the best pizzas I've ever tasted at this restaurant. It was exactly how I like it and I would give it 5 stars. The service was great as well. However, my experience took a turn for the worse when I went to use the restroom at the end of my meal and found one of the chefs using it. I was completely disgusted by what I saw and it tarnished my opinion of the place. I typically am not easily bothered by these things, but this was just too much for me.

I was recommended to visit this restaurant while in Detroit, and I can see why! The pizza was delicious with a perfect crust and just the right amount of sauce. The toasted garlic on top was a pleasant surprise and added to the overall experience. The wings were also excellent, much better than what you typically find at pizza places. For dessert, I tried a slice of the lemon cake which was unlike anything I had tasted before. It wasn't overly sweet but packed with flavor, making it a unique and enjoyable treat. I will definitely be returning next time I'm in Detroit.

Very good Detroit style pizza, wings were great. Pizza has little sauce but is perfect. Crunchy and flaverful.

This place has the best pizza and I would drive the three hours that it would take me from where I live in Canada just to eat it again!The dough was perfectly fluffy, yet crispy and the toppings were flavourful and cooked to perfection. We had the Sicilian and the Henry Ford, and both were incredibly delicious. Even my husband (who is more accustomed to European-style pizza) loved the food here.Can we get a Buddy's Pizza in Canada, please?

Buddy's pizza was good, very good. It tasted like most other pizzas, but in a different shape.....nothing extremely different about the flavor or taste. The wings at Buddy's had an amazing flavor, but were MICROSIZED!Service was good too. Will go back, and recommend to others to try Detroit pizza.
