Bidrage med feedbackIf you need to really treat yourself go to Proudfoot and Bird. Ambiance, food, service, and drinks are wonderful. It is a beautiful upbeat place but not loud. Can’t wait to go again! Johnny took care of us, genuinely made us feel welcome and it could not have been better.
Three of us went for dinner on a Friday night before a show. First of all our server Kara very attentive and personable. All of the food was very good with the exception of the Sea Bass which we felt lacked flavor. The Grazing Board was A LOT of charcuterie for $24. The French Onion Soup was good as well. The Cab Filet was exceptional!! The Sukna Salmon with coconut curry was also very good. We had the three desserts: Apple Gallete, Sticky Toffee Pudding (not as good as Gordon Ramsey's though still pretty good), and Flourless Chocolate Cake with raspberry sauce. Again, almost everything was very good. We look forward to returning.
Only reasoning for the 4 stars was because we made reservations for our 1st wedding anniversary, which also happened to be NYE. We made our reservations back in October, then 3-4 days before our reservation we got a call that there would be a set menu instead of their normal menu. We would’ve preferred to have the regular menu since that’s what our reservation was intended for, but we kept the reservation because of such short notice and we couldn’t have found another restaurant to accommodate. Otherwise, food was very good and service is always a 100/10.
New Year’s Eve 120 per plate but the extreme costs is drinks our 240 dinner for two turned into 340 without even buying a bottle of wine which average 180+ and a minimal by the glass list due to price it’s not a place we will visit very often The service was great and food was excellent my wife and I will usually try two different items just taste lots of food. We are not vegetarians or vegan but the smoked beet entree as the protein replacement was fantastic. We have eaten at all the high end places in town and food was better than all along with great service. So kudos but the value is still too rich for our blood .
Service was outstanding and the food was innovative and equally outstanding.
