Sweet Genes Sweet Shop

The customer service at this restaurant is excellent, and they serve delicious tea and coffee as well as old-fashioned sweets. The staff is always friendly, and I have enjoyed every visit, especially on Sundays.

Even though it's called a sweet shop, they also offer hot drinks and snacks. The homemade cakes are fantastic - I tried the Strawberry and Coconut slice for only £1.80 and it was amazing. The menu is simple but definitely worth a visit before or after your walk.

Conveniently located next to the car park in Baslow, this restaurant is perfect for grabbing a quick bite before or after visiting the Chatsworth estate. They offer a generously sized takeaway cup of tea at a very affordable price.

A brilliant well stocked sweet shop that also sells the excellent Bradwells Derbyshire ice cream. Lovely to see the lady that runs the place dressed in a full England kit including white shorts today in readiness for tonight’s European game in Rome, a really great spirit.

This is a local shop/cafe, now operating as a takeaway from a hatch next to the car park. Prices are good and the cake was amazing. Substantial slice of Coconut and Strawberry Slab Cake really tasty too.
