Riverwalk Social - Derby

I had mixed experiences here, but recently the food has been served cold, even though I arrive early and have to wait.

My husband enjoyed the best fish and chips we've had since arriving in Ireland. The salads were incredible too, bursting with flavor! The service was very friendly, and it's a great spot for a kid-friendly lunch!

Good pizza but service was a little meh. Really cool atmosphere. I would recommend to check it out. Cool place to hang grab a beer.

We specifically went extra early (4:30 p.m. to get good service. Waited an hour and 20 minutes for a Reuben and chicken sandwich. Reuben was served on black burnt toast with no Swiss cheese. The cook does not even know this is supposed to be grilled. Then he could not even make toast and forgot the cheese. Totally ignored by wait staff. Diarrhea to boot from what I did eat. Stay away.

I've been coming there back when it was Archie Moore. The only reason was Mary Ellen was the best bartender and she worked here for 17 years. Apparently management thougt it would be a good idea to fire Mary Ellen. Big mistake because she was the heart and soul of this place. Good luck with your foolish decision. I won't ever return.
