Café C'est La Vie - Depoe Bay

After seeing the only other review here, we were hoping for vegan options at this restaurant. Unfortunately, there are none available. When we inquired with the staff, we were informed that nothing is vegan, not even the coffee, due to shared utensils and equipment. Additionally, the staff member wore a poorly fitting mask that slipped below their nose throughout our visit, which was concerning during the pandemic. While the cafe is charming for non-vegans and may be worth a visit post-pandemic, it was ultimately disappointing for us. We are giving it two stars - one for not meeting our vegan expectations and another for the mask safety issue and the unhelpful response we received.

This delightful French-style cafe serves vegan crepes, fresh fruit, teas, and coffee. Simply ask your server for the available vegan options, as they are not currently listed on the menu.

Parking: Park on street or around back. Dog friendly side yard.

This place saved my life. Wi-fi went out where I was staying and I came here to do some work while on vacation. Food was delicious, coffee was sumptuous, and the staff was so friendly and accommodating. This is the perfect, cozy neighborhood café to get your day going (or save you from an emergency deadline).
