I would give this restaurant 10 stars if I could. Many popular places in Denver tend to be predictable, uninspiring, or simply average. However, this one stands out as original, authentic, and exceptional. We've visited other dietary-focused restaurants in Denver, but nothing compares to this one. Everything is freshly prepared, handcrafted, and made with care and high quality. The fried catfish was among the best we've ever tasted, and the fried chicken rivaled that of any grandmother’s cooking. All the side dishes were perfect, too. The service was incredibly gracious, with the two owners personally serving and ensuring that you feel welcomed and valued. If you love soul food, this is a must-visit!

This is really a soul food restaurant through and through! From the time you walk in the door your definitely in the big moms house with all family and friends! This is all at home stapes that you use to eat, food is cooked and flavored to perfection! Immerse yourself and expect to wait 20-25 minutes, how everything is done to order! This is a great restaurant!! Must eat here!

I loved the Ochsenschwanz-Reis dinner, I actually ordered an extra To-Go. The chicken, catfish and the sides were good. The staff was friendly and I was amazed to have just stumbled into this place.

Authentic soul food, atmosphere and people. The oxtail was tender, fried chicken was flavorful, great wings and the sides hit the spot. Portions were large and the prices were fair. They promptly dealt with an unruly customer, it was entertaining to watch. I Left extremely satisfied and recommend this place to anyone.
