Bidrage med feedbackOur server, Michael, provided excellent service during our visit. We had great conversations with him and also with Josh, the manager. We will definitely be returning soon. Thank you!
The restaurant had a fun and quirky atmosphere with very friendly staff. Tiara provided excellent service to our group and made sure to accommodate a gluten allergy. We enjoyed the happy hour specials and this meal was a perfect start to our girls' trip.
This is a great eatery that is walkable from home for me. Specialize in lighter cleaner' fare from real Americana to Latin Asian Fusion, that's been solidly Americanized, but has great flavor. I have been to other Next Door locations, but this one, genuinely has a neighborhood feel, with a largish (for Denver) outdoor patio, servers that know your name management always on the floor. I am very gluten- sensitive, and their servers are all well- trained on the GF alternatives ask the right questions about cross-contamination, etc. They always make me a Hummus plate with Veggies, I've never had any issues eating their great double cheese burger with GF bun (that doesn't taste like it came out of the freezer), and their garlic aoli fries...OMG!!! I usually get sent home with extra because my love is excessive.I had teased how disappointing it was they didn't have a GF- sensitive option for dessert, and the ND Innovation Chef God's were listening.Behold!! Arroz Con Leche Fritters Dulce de Leche rice pudding, deep fried in Heaven's version of GF batter, drizzled with dark chocolate and sprinkled with sea salt. A fried, savory dessert that reminds me of my favorite Texas State Fair funnel cake I've not had anything resembling since I went GF 10 years ago.Come meet the friendly folks here at Next Door Central Park location! All around solid (especially if you want to get your nails done with the ladies...great place Next door, plus a homemade ice cream stand, the Constellation, in a cool, stainless steal replica of an airplane wing in homage to our old Stanley Airport history.
The outside patio was great, especially during Covid. They have outdoor heaters but it was sunny and 60 so they were not on and not needed. We came at 2:30 which was happy hour! A bonus for us. At first the server was a bit abrupt and we were thinking oh oh it’s going to be a not so good experience but she warmed up. Come to find out when We came in the patio and sat down it seemed to throw her off so that was our fault as we didn’t know what to do as we saw no signs So maybe signs are needed to let patrons know what to do??? (Seat yourself or come inside to be seated just direction please!)Sliders were really great flavor…highly recommend, The Chicken tacos and margaritas were good. Got ARROZ CON LECHE Fritters as a dessert. They were like deep fried rice pudding. If you love rice pudding I’d say go for it. However since rice pudding is the least favorite dessert to me, I would not order it again as it was just kinda a strange dessert to us, we ate it though.
Met a friend for drinks at the bar, and ended up having dinner. Fun and casual spot in Central Park neighborhood, just across from King Soopers. The area has a high end strip mall feel to it, but they do a nice job with the space. Small but not cramped, and a good selection of craft brews. The menu had some really interesting options, including excellent rice bowls. Super friendly staff that really goes out of their way to give the place a neighborhood feel.
