Las Fuentes Mexican - Denver

I grew up enjoying Mexican cuisine, and the food and service here have always been excellent. It's unfortunate that the restaurant has been sold; the new owners could use some guidance on providing quality customer service. It might also help to add a bit more spice to the dishes, unless they've toned it down for those who can't handle the heat. LOL. Despite these changes, I would still recommend this restaurant.

Fantastic restaurant! You can enjoy a lunch from the lunch special menu for just $10.00, which includes your drink and tip. Alternatively, you can choose from the regular menu, which is slightly pricier but offers larger portions. As others have pointed out, the breakfast burritos are excellent and priced at only $1.99 (an additional $1.00 if you want to add meat). Please note that Google has listed the incorrect location; this restaurant is located off South Union Boulevard, not Colfax.

This is a lovely little spot that falls in a moderate price range. The food is delightful; I enjoyed a bean and carne asada burrito for just $6.50, and there was no extra charge for adding lettuce or tomatoes. The green chili had a wonderful flavor, and the refried beans tasted homemade. My wife was a big fan of the chili relleno. Plus, they offered roasted jalapeños for just 50 cents for two. The restaurant is small but beautifully decorated, complete with a charming little cantina bar inside.

We stopped in after a long and exhausting day. it was not busy and we were promptly greeted. We just stopped in on the way home to get some take out on the way home. We ordered and the owner gave us his recommendations. We were offered a drink while we waited. Sat and talked with the owner who was very genuine on wanting to get to know his clients and take care of them. We took the food home and it was very good. I would recommend this place to anyone.

I really like this restaurant. It is pretty good Mexican food, especially for the price. I really love the sopapillas they are amazing, and my friend loves the flan that they serve. They margaritas aren't half bad either.
