Cozy Cottage - Denver

I've always enjoyed this place, though I don’t visit often. However, it felt like something was different this time—perhaps a change in ownership? I ordered the Bluebird Benedict, and it was delicious! The potatoes were a little undercooked, but the service was still fantastic.

This is a fantastic breakfast spot, and the name fits perfectly! They offer a variety of delicious traditional breakfast items, but my personal favorite is the Southern Oatmeal paired with a side of bacon. They also serve excellent lattes and specialty coffee.

They already had my favorite breakfast on Tennyson, and now they have a great dinner menu too!

Now Serving Dinner Too!! We’ve been here several times before and enjoyed many brunches on the patio. We walked by last week and noticed they were serving dinner. So today, we came back and gave it a go! We had a small salad, the app of potato/cheese rolls, pesto shrimp gnocchi, and sweet potato gnocchi with pork and arugula, and the service was excellent as always. Recommend for brunch, lunch and now dinner too!

I really enjoy breakfast at the Cozy Cottage. They have a wonderful selection of teas, and the food is delicious. If I had to be picky, I would prefer they use less oil and add a bit more salt and pepper during cooking. I’d also love to see their potatoes be a bit crispier. However, they excel with their vegetarian options, and their light and healthy dishes are always a favorite of mine.
