Subway - Denton

Despite the Yelp listing, this Subway is actually open for business. With that said, it wasn 't the best Subway I 've ever visited. They share part of the building layout with a Dunkin Donuts which makes it convenient for anyone that wants to make Jared the Subway guy cry by eating a donut after a healthy sub. We stopped into the location early in the morning on our way to the beach. After picking up some treats and coffee for the wife from Dunkin, I walked past the Subway counter on my way out the door. I noticed they had breakfast sandwiches and decided to give it a try. I ordered a steak, egg and cheese sandwich served on an English muffin. The egg was okay but the steak was SUPER salty was tiny chopped up pieces of what once used to be steak more closely resembling cat food. meow The bread was supposedly toasted, but was more a soggy texture than toasted which may have been due to the steam from the egg and warmed up steak bits. The service wasn 't too friendly as the lone girl running the counter appeared to be annoyed that I was placing an order with her. Hmmm...then again would I be friendly so early in the morning at a place that is better known for lunchtime sandwiches versus breakfast eats? Probably not, but then again I 'm a jerkface.... I wasn 't happy with my sandwich and after the wife tasted the same sandwich, we both had the buyer 's remorse. Eww...never again... Next time I 'd rather eat a turkey sub for breakfast and would definitely hit another Subway location. Hmmm...wonder if THAT is the reason why Yelp labeled it as closed .

I 'm giving this location 1-Star. I ordered a chopped salad, with grilled chicken, three times, he just have me the deer in headlights look . When we got to the veggies condiments that was even worse. 4 times . . . FOUR times I had to ask for more spinach. This is no exaggeration, he literally put 3 pieces of spinach on the salad, like the spinach is chiming directly or of his paycheck. I didn 't want dressing or salt pepper which is s good thing because he didn 't even ask. IF a Subway employee at the DD Subway combo store are reading this: If you hate your job this much, QUIT someone who actually NEEDS a job will take it and appreciate that they have one. Maybe, there needs to be an adult manager supervising. I will NEVER go to this location again.

Service was horrible, staff acted like we were bothering them. Food was bland. Sandwich's were made poorly. Even after we tried to get them to correct their mistakes. They just didn't care. WORST Subway EVER! Skip it go to the one in Wal-Mart!

I go to the subway that shares space with dd in denton and have never had a bad meal. they fix your meal the way you want it and they are very pleasant. my wife and i eat there average of once a week.

They were very nice and personable. Place was mostly clean. Food was what is expected from Subway.
