Chapin's Fish Chips And Beach - Dennis

First time here; food prepared exactly as requested; service excellant; very pleasant atmosphere; lots of parking.

I have been to Chapin's in Denis for years. Tried the Denisport location and was disappointed. The personnel were not friendly. We sat at the bar to eat dinner. Ordered Shrimp Scampi. Asked for some bread was told there would be an upcharge for bread. Had to ask for cheese and salt and pepper. The food was served on a soggy paper plate and was just ok. I'm not use to eating off a paper plate at Chapin's. This location is not like the Chapin's in Denis. Looks like customer satisfaction at this location is less than what I expected from this restaurant. The Skipper is a better choice.

Wait was supposed to be 1 hr. Waited over 1.5 hrs just to be sat at a table outside in the back of the tented seating area where it looked like they were closing the section for the night. Proceeded to sit there and be overlooked by all staff for a half hour before just walking out and finding somewhere else to eat.

Food is slow to come. This place sucks. Server was great but food was slow as heck.

Was so looking forward to the fried clams we’ve had here before. Instead it was the worst we’ve ever had. Clumped together, tiny and lots of pieces and worst of all cold. It was 2:00 in the afternoon on a Monday nobody there. No excuse for this. We won’t be back sorry to say
