Gourmet Waffle Shop Cafe - Denison

This small, family-owned breakfast spot serves lunch until 2 PM and offers a home-cooked vibe. The food is consistently excellent, and I've been coming here for years. I ordered a chicken sandwich and a baked potato for lunch, and I have no complaints at all.

Absolutely the best waffles and breakfast we've ever had! We returned the very next day to enjoy more of this deliciousness. The owner is fantastic, the service is excellent, and the food is amazing!

This was our first visit, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The restaurant was quite busy, and it seemed they were a bit short-staffed, which made service a little slower than usual. They serve coffee in sturdy styrofoam cups instead of regular ones, and some entrees are served on paper plates. However, the cinnamon hotcake and the homemade biscuits were absolutely delicious. The eggs breakfast was a standard diner fare, which was also enjoyable. The waitstaff was friendly and attentive, contributing to a nice diner atmosphere. We will certainly be returning!
