The owner had a kind greeting for all patrons and was proud to announce that he was in business for over 34 years. the lunch came with 4 huge baked chicken strips, a sufficient aid of crushed carrots and green beans with a side of white gravure. they made a fresh pot decaf coffee that came at the end of the meal. the staff was very friendly and the service was fast for a family business. that was my fifth visit and I will return.

Breakfast! Hole-in-the-wall 29 year-old restaurant with made from scratch biscuits that are great. Over easy eggs were actually over easy, which is usually hard for restaurants to get right for some reason. I wasn’t excited about the sausage. Gravy was good after I added salt. Super fast service. I mean, our food was at our table less than 5 minutes after ordering. This place is all about Texas and American pride. Even They’re booths are in a Texas decor. Pretty sure almost every regular there is packing a gun in true Texas style. Pretty sure this place will never get robbed. We enjoyed it very much and will return.

This is a small breakfast and lunch type place in a modest building that we enjoyed quite a lot. One member of our group actually did order a waffle and said it was indeed very good although I'm unconvinced there's such a thing as a gourmet waffle. However, it WAS in the shape of the state of Texas and that may push it over the top. Overall we had a very pleasant experience and our server was both friendly and efficient. We would certainly go back if the opportunity arises.
