Camping Papillon Country Resort

Beim 1. Mal Glamping. Diesmal einen Bungalow. Tolle Einrichtung. Leider ist der Campingplatz recht leer für Sommerferien.. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Quiet, Kid-friendly, Great value

Über ein Wochenende waren wir in einer kleinen Gruppe für den Geburtstag meiner Schwester dort. Es ist eine kleine, moderne Parkanlage mit unterschiedlichen Unterkünften. Außerdem Schwimmbad, Badesee, Spielplatz, Imbiss, Kinderprogramm...etc. Als wir angekommen sind wurden wir am Service Center sehr freundlich bedient, die meisten sprechen auch deutsch. Dort gibt es auch ein Restaurant in welchem man frühstücken und zu Abend essen kann, haben wir aber nicht genutzt. Außerdem die Möglichkeit einiges einzukaufen an Lebensmitteln, wie Brötchen morgens, und Utensilien. Aber man bekommt dort auch Softeis, Stieleis und Kugel Eis. Nach einer kleinen Einweisung und Schlüsselübergabe konnten wir zu unsere Unterkunft beziehen und alles verräumen. Zur Parksituation: im Eingangsbereich der Anlage sind ausreichend kostenfreie Parkplätze und für jede Unterkunft gibt es eine Parkkarte, mit welcher man durch eine Schranke auf das Gelände fahren kann. Auf dem Gelände gibt es in der Nähe der Unterkünfte eine Parkzone zum Ausladen und je Unterkunft einen ausgewiesen Parkplatz in der Nähe. Unsere Unterkunft war ein Bungalow mit ausreichend Platz, vorallem auf der Terrasse, für uns alle und auch Gas für den Gasgrill wird gestellt. Das einzige Manko: keine ausreichende Beleuchtung für draußen und wenn zu viele Elektronische Geräte an sind oder angeschlossen sind, piept der Sicherungskasten, also gibt es eine Begrenzung. Aber stört nicht dermaßen,da man nachts z.B. nicht kocht. Das Schwimmbad ist eher für die kleinere Gäste, hingegen der Badesee eine tolle Abkühlung Möglichkeit für alle war. Zusammenfassend hatten wir dort ein tolles Wochenende und werden wieder kommen!

Mooie camping, met uitstekende privé sanitair en een buiten keukenblad/koelkast, als je dat wilt. De plaatsen zijn mooi vlak. De grasmat is op veel plaatsen wel zanderig. Er is een groot zwembad en een buitenmeer. Voor kleine kinderen zijn er veel speelterreinen. Je kunt kiezen uit zonnige of schaduwrijke plaatsen. De prijzen voor de staanplaatsen zijn redelijk, gezien wat ze bieden. De omgeving is mooi om te fietsen. Er zijn leuke winkelstadjes op fietsafstand, en de camping ligt op de grens van Duitsland.

We had good experience there, the teamwork is kind and the place is nice for kids .The service is good and the activities are interessting for kids.But swimming pool is so tiny n not deep and the lake is a little bit dirty. We faced racist comments from some German guests but the resort team has no influence on it . Service: 4

This review aims not to denigrade the Papillon Country Resort, but as a warning for other customers to learn from my mistake. I booked and payed a standard family room (or Air Lodge 2.0, based on their official site) for the 4 of us, from 10 to 15 August. At the reception, we received the accomodation no. F14, situated NW of the camp. On the arrival, a very unpleasant smell from the farmer next to the location, smashed our senses. We agreed that this situation should not interfere with our vacation, although that smell is way negatively difrent from a normal smell of a farm. After half an hour spent in the accomodation, while arranging our stuff, we felt an irritation in the throat, moment that we observed the mold on the ceiling. The hole place, even the upstairs bedroom, was with plenty of mold spots, green and black, not to mention the unproperly cleaning. When we complained at the reception, a technical personnel was sent but he denied the existence of the mold. Even during our conversesion with the manager (worth to mention his lack of common sense, diplomacy, who cannot take his responsabilites, but blaming the clients) he denied the mold, with the wood sweat . A simple Google search could discover this simple difference between the mold and the wood sweat. On our recommendation, the manager searched for difrent accomodation, with no luck due to unavailablility. Hence, we were forced to give up our so called my kids relaxing vacation, and to drive back home, another 4 hours. Taking all into account, I strongly advice anyone not to accept the respective accomodation, and also to avoid the ones near the farm.
