Sainsbury's Cafe - Denbighshire

Ordered a jacket potato with cheese. The potato was cold and black inside. The cheese was just grated cheese on the side. Not cooked with the potato. Bit of green leaf on the side. Not nice at all. Just don’t know how they get away with it. Awful

Visited on Friday the 15th. Terrible visit, dirty cutlery, uninterested staff and the food! Well....We both had beer battered cod chips. Worst meal EVER!! Horrible processed fish that, for a £6 meal looked and tasted like the 2 pieces for 99p sainsbury basic fodder. The chips, all 12 of them looked and tasted like they'd just been shown the fryer as apposed to actually put inside it.mine were just about passable but the wifes tasted like no chip ive ever tasted and when I took them back and told them what was wrong she looked at me as if id just told her id killed her pig. When they came back you could seeŕ I had garden peas with mine and the wife had baked beans which I can only guess at them being sainsburys basics again! Also, no hint of any bread or butter. Morrisons fish and chips look and taste like they should cost much more than the £1 that they do!! The only saving grace was the coffee was nice but expensive compared to morrisons. We used to go to the sainsburys quite regular until lockdown closed everything but after this, unless the cafe has a serious look at itself and the management overhaul the menu and facilities we won't be going back but will continue on to morrisons for some quality food! The picture isn't what we got but what was expected.

Always good service here, pleasant and helpful staff, love their toasted teacakes, always kept clean, have been going here for years now

Greeted by the most miserable employee, if you don’t like your job then quit, nobody forces you to come to work, good customer service is free, will not visit Deb

The food was really poor. The scampi were like bullets, chips on one plate were ok over cooked peas…… Second plate came with a hair, after being sent back the chips were under cooked, scampi like bullets and clearly under portioned to the other plate and over cooked peas. No tartare sauce given this had to be asked for. NO ONE asked if our meal was ok. Very very poor considering the price and considering the store. Will definitely not be going back.
