Italiano 'la Liguria' Den Haag

I went here last year around christmas time. We were seated close to the bar and we ordered 10 rounds i think. My favorite was the shrimps. They don’t have a lot of chicken options. But the food is delicious. It was pretty cheap too. And the cocktails were delicious. I will definitely go again soon. I love this place!

Important positive: the staff was very kind and they do seem to work hard! Unfortunately, and most importantly, the food is not very special it’s overall pretty blant. In addition, (and hopefully only due to the busy hour) they were quite slow with delivering the food to our table. It seemed they forgot our dishes a couple times. Next to that, the service was slow with cleaning off our table, which at some point made our already small table very crowded to eat. However, if this is the result of understaffing low personnel problems, I can imagine why the service had difficulties with fast deliveries so this might be (hopefully) a temporary issue and could be understandable. On another note, the door to the backyard (The Hague restaurant) was open, which caused the indoor restaurant to constantly get filled with smoke from people who were smoking outside. Which can be very annoying during eating. I would recommend asking the guests to smoke outside at the front of the restaurant. In summary, despite the kind staff, I don’t think we will be returning here quite soon mainly due to the averageness of the food itself.

Fun atmosphere and tasty tapas!

Very cheap ayce concept. Good dishes to choose from but I was happy there was salt pepper at the table. Some dishes were a bit lacking salt and pepper.

Food is fine. Cozy atmosphere. Good place to eat with a group, but sometimes they take quite long in serving the dishes.
