The Poldark Inn - Delabole

The apartments are clean and spacious, with everything you need and really comfy beds, plus outside space which was a bonus as the weather was glorious. They lack a bit of personality not a cushion in sight and nothing to put fruit in but that is picky and no doubt deliberate to keep cleaning easier esp post COVID. I should mention the WiFi was good and sustained teenager throughout the stay! The pub part looks a bit run down and the menu basic. Do not let this put you off! The food is amazing! The best steak I had in a long time and my son 's burger was 'banging ' apparently! Oh and the best chips. The choice isn 't huge, but what there is is done to really high standard. We didn 't breakfast, but we ended up eating there every night of our stay, even when we 'd eaten earlier in the day !! The location is good, within easy access to loads of things to do for all ages and nearby local shops. The staff were all lovely and the pub attracts locals as well as visitors. In an area where food and entry to attractions can be expensive/ prohibitive, this represents value for money with excellent food, cleanliness and a warm welcome! This is wonderful place with great rooms and the Inn offers great food and drinks highly recommend Rooms: The rooms are very clean and very comfortable highly recommend Nearby activities: Walks along coast , King Arthur’s castle just down road in one direction and in the other Port Isaac, location of TV series Doc Martin Walkability: Heaps of tracks to walk down, close to the little village and close to the coast Food drinks: Excellent food options in the end and the restaurant and the breakfast is very good Noteworthy details: Great location for travelling around the area Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Great view, Quiet, Kid-friendly, Great value

Rooms: Great room, much larger than expected. Comfortable bed, nice shower good value for the money. Food drinks: Well stocked bar, obviously a locals pub. Friendly staff and customers. Prices pretty reasonable. Hotel highlights: Great value
