It's so good for a dune I made on 17th. Jan 2020 had. Food was nice service was nice the buffet is the only option you have. No reservation. This has a fixed rate to all per person 3500LKR including all taxes. At night I find it a little darker.

Peaceful,classy and what the hell, it's mount Lavinia hotel

Really great food, with a nice mix of Lankan and International dishes. We went for the lunch buffet, was packed so remember to make a reservation the day before. Highly recommend eating outside, with a view of the beach, enjoying the sea breeze. Pool was included, which was a nice way to relax after the meal. Watching the squirrels and their shenanigans is a bonus for kids and animal lovers!

We had our lunch and a belated birthday party for parents here yesterday and it was great. The staff were very good and arranged the cakes, balloons etc. With regards to the lunch, it was a buffet with Sri Lankan, Indian and Chinese food on offer. I loved the Sri Lankan spicy pork curry which I craved for a few years now as we can't find that back in London. The buffet is very reasonably priced with plenty of spaces for families and the food was excellent taking the learnings from Chef Pubilis of course. Overall a very good experience and I give it a 5 star.
