Smoothie King - Deerfield Beach

The service here is incredibly poor. I would recommend not visiting this restaurant; it feels like the staff would rather be anywhere else. The service is extremely slow, making for an overall frustrating experience.

I used to visit this restaurant frequently, but unfortunately, my last experience has left me disappointed. My partner and I ordered smoothies from there yesterday (8/31/22), and to my shock, I found pieces of plastic mixed in with my drink. Some of the pieces were large enough for me to catch before swallowing, but others were small enough that I'm certain I ingested plastic. I'm still trying to understand how this could have happened, and I haven’t received an apology or any follow-up regarding this issue.

The restaurant was significantly understaffed, and there seemed to be a lack of leadership. I ended up having to bring my own bananas, the main ingredient for a banana boat. I waited 20 minutes just to find out that the bananas had been out of stock since the morning. This is not ideal for someone like me who values proactivity. I left a constructive negative review, as I believe that's the best way to bring about change nowadays, yet I still had to pay full price for my smoothies.

I'm so happy they open one up close to me. So much selections to choose from. Good spot to get a shake after working out a the gym. Friendly staff, small and cozy located in a nice busy plaza. Friday is $5 shake for 32oz. I recommend it.

Finally! A smoothie place opened up in West Deerfield. I visited this location for the second time today. I'm both visits, the staff is friendly and polite. I look forward to frequenting this Smoothie King. Parking in front of the store on the weekends can be difficult. I recommend parking in the back and entering through the back door.
