Bidrage med feedbackVerde is the standout restaurant in my mind at the end of the year. It has a casual and cool vibe that sets it apart. With my experience in the restaurant industry, I can appreciate the attention to detail in both the menu and presentation. The drinks and atmosphere are excellent, and the staff at Verde are top-notch. I recommend trying all the appetizers as entrees and truly enjoying the experience. - BRYAN SALAMONE
It is embarrassing that a foodie like myself had no idea that this restaurant has been at this location for about thirty years and I finally am having lunch here nine days before they close for good. When I first walked in, there was a crowded bar with many people eating lunch. We arrived sometime after 1:30pm and the restaurant was still very crowded. Lunch was wonderful and definitely worth another visit before they close for good. The owners son stated that they do not intend to reopen anywhere else, but they will do catering in the future.
Rustic Italian decor Staff is nice The homemade Cavatelli Bolognese was good, I like that you get a complementary house salad with your entree.
It is unfortunate that we just discovered this restaurant and it is closing on December 22, 2019.
Wow! After years of having this place bookmarked, I finally dined here and regret not coming sooner! The atmosphere and ambience were fantastic. Our waiter, CJ, was great. We started with the roasted clams which were delicious! The pork belly combo was executed perfectly with a fantastic sauce. The complimentary bread and salad were awesome and delicious. Next, we had the cavatelli bolognese which was another delicious choice. The freshly made pasta was very filling and the meat was so good! We were already full from splitting everything, so unfortunately, we didn't get to try the cod and short rib. We will definitely have to come back for those. For dessert, we had the cream cheese granola dessert which wasn't very sweet but still good, along with some piping hot caps. Their drinks were also a hit! I started with their Sauvignon Blanc but after Jay O. recommended the stormy dark cocktail, I fell in love and quickly switched over. We had a few before we left and even stopped at the bar for one more. The mixologist, Alyssa, was amazing and sweet. I can't wait to come back for dinner and bring some friends. However, the sad news is they are closing in a month and the food menu will be changing. I hope they will reopen somewhere else with their amazing food and staff. I will definitely be back before they close to enjoy their food and drinks one last time.
