Alfonso's Pizza Italian - Decatur

Has been recommended by some native cross eyed owl brewing. I have to admit, this place has the best meat sauce from a local Italian restaraunt I've ever had. the meatballs are a little overlaid and hard, but that's not too big.

We had the Chefs Special and loved it. The spaghetti and meatballs were good too.

We were seated quickly and courteously. The food came fast and hot. I got the chicken parmesan and my wife the Meatballs. Everything was delicious and fairly priced. We will definitely go back next time in town.

Alfonso's was recommended to me by a local while I was traveling here on business. Lovely wait staff, attentive manager, bar selection was small but well stocked, the menu had all the classics, my order was out fast and was well prepared. My biggest compliments to the meal prep team at Alfonso's because it looked like every plate and pizza they brought out was what other Italian restaurants use in advertising. The ingredients were of a good quality and my chicken fettuccini alfredo was great, delicious and fresh. If you're in Decatur, I recommend checking them out.
