Was very pleasantly supprised for an out of the way location. Great tasting food and very friendly service. Can't wait to eat there again.

There's nothing fancy about this place, just good old-fashioned home cooking at a great price! You won't find a better meal value anywhere unless you stay home and cook it yourself. Everything's fresh, but the star attraction is definitely the salad bar. Unbelievable!! You can't reach across it!! It's constantly replenished with a huge variety of salad greens, REAL diced meat, cheese, boiled eggs, veggies, cottage cheese, pasta salad, ETC! And the waitresses are fabulous they don't miss a beat. We live close by so we visit often, but it's worth a drive. Make a casual date with friends and enjoy a night out without breaking your budget!!

Preble Gardens is a surprise on the inside compared to the simplicity of the building. The salad bar is the rage! A great variety of all sorts of dishes! They even have an excellent Greek salad that is hard to find in Indiana.

Preble Gardens is NOT closed. It's a great place to eat. Nicely renovated. Relaxing atmosphere.
