We ordered the Mahi-Mahi-tacos, Wet Burrito and the La Catrina Steak Fajitas. The Mahi was flavorless, the burrito was greasy, and the steak was chewy and flavorless. The beans that come as a side look more like a pudding than refried beans and taste horribly and the rice is far too grainy tasting for as mushy as it is. The one thing I will give credit for was their customer service. I only received one of the meals from my dasher and when i called about it they quickly began making my other 2 meals for me to personally come and pick up.

Super fast for pickup, absolutely beautiful restaurant and very friendly service! second time here and will not be my last! many thanks for the simple and so delicious dinner!

If they are looking for great Mexican food and even better customer service, they have found the right place! we have been here since last year and the owners have treated us as family since the first day. they are such real people and their food is great! great place!

Some of the best Mexican I have had in a very long time. Every time I go the service is outstanding. The chips are homemade. The black beans are the best I’ve ever had. Tacos are delicious lots of flavor and the guacamole is to die for!!

For the most part, Trip Advisor’s ratings are rated higher than they should be. . .and this could not be more true here! I am literally shaking my head at these reviews saying how great this place is. I mean, did I catch it on an off night? Substitute cook? I honestly can’t call it, but I do know it was one of the worse dinners I’ve had In a really long time. It was an epic fail of gargantuan proportions. Ok maybe not that bad but I definitely felt pranked and played afterwards. The nachos appetizer definitely has a flair of its own. I just could not decide if that was good or bad but I’m leaning heavily towards bad. The carnitas platter tasted old and re-cooked. The beans were a watery mess and the rice was just ok. I can only conclude that La Catrina Tapatia is just not my cup of guacamole.
