Qahwah House - Dearborn

This coffee shop is a one-of-a-kind. If you want authentic coffee or espresso this is the place. The Yemeni latte is phenomenal and highly recommended. For anyone looking for an out of the ordinary cafe with deep rooted history look no further.

This place is amazing! Last night My husband, kids and I went there for the first time and we had their Adeni Tea and Sabaya pastry and they were delicious! Service was great aswell! Definitely recommend and most definitely going back!

It’s coffee, Jim, but not as we know it. Qahwah (pronounced Kaf vwah) House makes coffee in the traditional method used in Yemen, the birthplace of the drink. The cascara (coffee cherry fruit), the coffee beans, and spices combine in an infusion more like chai tea than the coffee that you’re probably used to. The result is a delicious, moderately caffeinated, and much lighter drink but a drink with the body and warmth to keep you warm throughout the day. Qahwah House joins the list of Dearborn establishments I demand my out of town friends try when they visit, and joins in a high ranking at that. I’m really glad to have them here, and I look forward to my next visit!

A breath of fresh air! A friendly, lovely shop. Delicious mohawar and the coffee made with coffee husks, I'm sure got the names wrong but they were yummy. Looking forward to returning soon and trying some of their sweets as well.

Fantastic!! The Yemen Latte was the best latte I've ever had. Coffee is so smooth, there is a difference in quality that you can taste. The pastries were great as well. I hope they open a second location soon, this place is going to be packed!
