Dickey's Barbecue Pit - Daytona Beach

Went there for dinner 6/25 and only one person working so our experience may have been different had they been fully staffed. The food was very disappointing for the price we paid. The bbq was dry and sauces in seating area were all empty. The sandwicheswere cold and supposed to have toppings. When asked about the toppings we were told the day shift didn't prepare them. He failedto mention that when we ordered eliminating our opportunity to either change our order or leave. We will not be returning.

I have no idea how bad reviews are. My family and I eat here as I write this and absolutely everything is amazing. The chicken is juicy. Brisket is perfect. Rolls should die. I'll be back 100%. And the staff is very friendly.

Eating was at best mediocre. could definitely use some improvements. I had the Cuban and the kielbasa that was on it, had to be removed because it seemed old and dry. the mac and the cheese and the roasted okra were edible, but very little luster. my man has green beans and burnt ends. the green beans were really quite amazing, the burnt ending were just okay. there were three different self-service BBQ sauces to choose from. everything was clean and the service was very accommodating. the only reason I can't give this is eating.

I ordered from here for the first time, and the food was absolutely terrible. I would recommend not wasting your money here. Many items were missing from my order, the mac and cheese was just Kraft mac and cheese, the baked beans were unappetizing, and the pulled pork was dry without any barbecue sauce provided. I was honestly very disappointed with my experience at this restaurant.

I found the burger I ordered to be acceptable, but the French fries were stale. I'm not sure if they were cooked in old oil or something, but they were really unappetizing. I placed my order through UberEats, and it seems like your staff might not prioritize those deliveries. This experience was disappointing, and I won't be ordering from your restaurant again. It felt like a waste of money.
