Slyder's Tavern - Dayton

You once looked at your food and you know it's gonna be okay? that is the exact feeling that I am at slyder’s. the wings were delicious and the mushroom and the Swiss burger was just as good. the owner was present and the barkeepers were super friendly. when I walked in the bar, everything was full and everyone ate. that is always a good sign on a late Tuesday night. I'm sure I'll be back next time in dayton!

One of the best secrets of dayton. the service is amazing, and the burgers are even better! cooked to try. I had the Patty melt and my friend had the speck cheeseburger. be a perfect medium and my was a perfect medium. his wife had the club sammy with which she was very satisfied. splurge on the house made wobble rings! very small space with very limited parking so plan accordingly. we went to a late lunch at 3 o'clock and the place was quite full. we have the last parking lot. 11oz burger was 9.75, rings were 3.00 warped wings on hahn at the bar. very clear why this place has been in business for 70 years! does not take any reservations, but if you have a party over 4 then you could call you so they can plan for you. friendly diving bar atmosphere with amazing burgers, what could be better?

How have I lived in the Dayton area and not been here? Atmosphere was pure Dayton. Made me feel like Tanks/any dive bar in the area. Burgers were good, but the servers and the atmosphere were what makes this place. The bartender and the servers all worked together and were almost fighting each other to serve us, all on a crowded Saturday night. Would recommend.

Absolutely delicious food. Service was amazing regardless of how busy and the safety restrictions. I had a cheeseburger onion rings, my fiance got the patty melt fries and we got a jumbo sampler appetizer. I could not be more satisfied especially for the price. Definitely going to become one of our regular spots.... We are now on a mission to try everything on the menu!

The best burger in Dayton. Slyder's gets their meat fresh every morning. No frozen patties here. The loaded potato skins are amazing! The service was incredibly friendly and efficient!
