This is a hidden gem! Tasty, chef inspired food using seasonal ingredients! Killer cocktail list and wine list! Curated vines! I had the soup du jour, lovely smooth squash, sweet with a kick of heat! I had the panzanella, elegant, seasonal vegetables, a vinaigrette that made you stand up and say 'wow! ' and trout, glorious and rich but light with a lovely sauce and garlic, buttery mashed potatoes. The chardonnay was an elevated experience, all the right notes and a classic finish. Pair this with great service and this is a hot hot, local spot!
You dont need 20 ingredients to make something good. We went here because Wheat Penny was to busy. Never. Again.
The food here is consistently excellent, and the portion sizes are great value. I’m a fan of the filet mignon and pork Jezebel, while my wife usually opts for the tacos. My only complaint is that they need to bring back the shrimp and grits from the seasonal menu!
We had a pretty terrible experience here. Food took forever, the waiter was slow and it was seriously overpriced. The appetiser was delicious but the dinners were terrible. I got the Jamaican chicken thighs. It was over cooked, the skin was greasy and it packed flavor. For being listed as a Jamaican dish I expected flavor and spice. My husband got the pasta putinesca and it also had no flavor. And was $30 which was insane for what it was. When I told the server I didn't like my dish he took it back and asked if I wanted anything else, I told him no o was okay and didn't want anything else. After that the manager came over with a menu and again asked if I would look at the menu and tell them what else I wanted. I said no once, that should have been enough. The manager also made me feel bad that I didn't like the dish because it was his favorite. All together just bad.
