Bidrage med feedbackOverall, one of the better dining experiences in Dayton, but not without room for improvement. Clam chowder was good although as New Englanders, we thought it was a little thick and lacked (enough) potatoes. We tried the calamari grilled instead of fried, which imparted a heavy grilled flavor that the sauce (not marinara) didn’t quite hold up to. The mussels were good but the wine garlic butter sauce lacked depth. The poke was the standout especially the vinaigrette.
I love the Scallops Andre. I wish theyd turn it into an entrée, maybe by using bay scallops and putting it over pasta or rice. The Salmon en Croûte is also excellent, but I wish it was available with creamy spinach.
For the price, the food was surprisingly bland. The filet and salmon definitely needed more seasoning... evenjust some salt would be an improvement. the appetizers all taste like something that was thrown together. The flavor on the artichoke hearts tasted like something from a grocery store in a bottle that theyjust added Parmesan cheese to. This was my second time trying this place because the last time their mussels and their key lime pie were phenomenal, but the rest of the menu just really isnt worth the price, in my opinion. That said, for an $8 slice of pie, I did exp it to be a bit larger.
Pecan pie and lime pie is my favorite from here I have never ate the food here but the way the pie taste im sure the food is just as good
This was perfect. The Scallops Andre were the perfect temp, taste and texture. I cant express how much I enjoyed this app.
