Dayton Tavern

It was said this is a good place for lunch. You're right! Not too far from the beat and path. The server was nice and friendly, the food was very good. This becomes one of our needs to eat places from time to time.

Definitely grab a bite if you are close to Dayton BUT if you are having an event in the area, look no further than Dayton Tavern! We just had Mama's Caboose out to cater our wedding and service our bar and WOW! We served Pretzels that everyone RAVED over and Philly Cheesesteaks and holy cow, even our friends from Philly said it was they best they'd had (outside of Philly, of course . From Day 1, their service has been absolutely amazing. Their catering manager and owner are always on point and always had everything we needed, even last minute! Everyone on their team went ABOVE AND BEYOND anything we ever could have expected and I wish we could have gotten photos of the bartenders because they were a BLAST and HALF. Icing on the cake? We got to have a cute caboose food truck at our train station venue : Stop looking. You've found the place to eat and/or cater your next event ;

We enjoyed Mothers Day brunch here and it was wonderful. Very reasonable prices. Great beverage specials. Yummy mimosas

What a great date night spot in the quiet town of Dayton! While the steak was a bit more done than I prefer it, it was very flavorful. Their sangria (both white and red are easily the best in town!! The waiter was very friendly and offered great suggestions. They also have a delicious coconut pie that’s absolutely perfect. I’ll definitely be back!! :
