Gold Village Chinese - Dawson City

It's been a long time since I've been to a Chinese restaurant like this! Feels just like Chinatown back home in Ontario but with a mountain view! Food is yummy, and authentic, best lemon chicken I've had in a very long time! Will return once my belt fits again...

Only people in the place. Service was a little slow. Food was inexpensive and solid and portions were large but really nothing to write home about. Wish they had more sauces (like chili oil or hoisen) at the tables.

The deep fried tofu was not all that good. The egg foo young was very good but it didn't come with any sauce.

I recently ordered 2 meals take out (mo po tofu, and mo gu gai pian). But none of them came with rice. I went back and asked for rice. They charged me an additional 5 dollars for a cup of rice. I think my meals should come with rice. How can I eat mo po tofu and mo gu gai pian without rice? 5 dollars is ripped off for me.

A good place to eat Chinese food in Dawson City. In my opinion, their best dish is Special Fried Rice and Wonton Soup with BBQ Pork Definitely recommended .
