Island Express - DAVISON

Do yourself a favor and go to Island Express!! Hands down the BEST food in Davison! Flavor in every single bite, chicken that falls off the bone and cheesy Mac and cheese with so much flavor. And to top everything off the owner of this place is so kind. Try it and spread the word she deserves all the business in the world plus more.

There isn’t even close to enough stars to rate this place! Food is outstanding! The flavors are second to none, her customer service is so warm and motherly. The only downfall is that more people don’t know about this place so that she could get her own restaurant! I could only imagine the things she could cook up if she had a fully functioning kitchen. DO NOT HESITATE! Your taste buds will thank you later!

For all my foodies. If you're craving a party in your mouth this place is it! ? I mean, the oxtails was tender and savory, and the curry chicken... are you kidding me? It's so good.Believe it or not, I flew THREE hours on a wing and a prayer based on a word-of-mouth referral, so glad I did! ?? The anticipation was worth it—this place is like a treasure hunt, a gem in the Davison market. I will be back!!!

The oxtail is seriously PHENOMENAL! Jerk chicken is also amazing. The plantains are perfect and the rice is sooooo delicious. Definitely worth driving over any days the farmers market is open just for this food. The ladies are also very sweet.

Oxtail was AMAZING! The rice, plantains and cabbage were also so awesome. Huge portion of deliciously sticky and savory oxtail perfectly cooked- you can feel the love in the food! Everything spiced and seasoned to perfection. The ladies were so nice and friendly. I’ve also tried the shrimp and my husband had the jerk chicken which was PHENOMENAL! Highly recommend to anyone who enjoys trying new food, flavors were sensational!
