Dickey's Barbecue Pit - Davis

Great place to get your BBQ fix. Brisket was a little dry but all meats were good. Skip the bread roll, traditional wonder bread would have been better. Service was friendly. I'd go back.

The employees here have been very nice in my experience. The last time I went Art (owner) was there and he was friendly as well. I usually get the Big Barbecue sandwich with the brisket. It never disappoints. The sides are pretty good. The free ice cream cones are a plus too if you have kids (or if you are a kid at heart)!

The 2 young men were very nice, store was clean and the food was amazing. To get my 5 starts the food needs to a bit warmer. I had baked beans and mac cheese was a tad on cold side

Saw that it was under new ownership. Mom and son were there today. I ordered the 2 meat combo. It was just before noon and not to many people inside. I asked what was good and he suggested the ribs and I got the brisket to. I should of got the pulled pork. I got their potato salad. The ribs were great , nice and juicy with good flavor. The brisket was disappointing. Dry. bummer. Had to use a lot of sauce on it. wish i picked the pork instead. Oh well. I liked the place. Food came out quick and loved the potato salad. The corn bread wasn't that good. Dry to. I will have to come back and try the tots and pork and waffles. Hopefully the brisket wasn't left over from the day before and left cooking.

I got the tri tip and tots. Their food is absolutely delicious and I recommend. I look forward to going back and trying the pull pork and the ribs. That barbecue sauce is to die for.
