Brinjol - Daventry

We were staying at hotel close by so decided to give this a try so made a reservation. Clean and spacious inside and staff very friendly and good service. Unfortunately I didn't think my dish was very tasty was okay but as it was...chef's special I presumed it would be amazing but the dish was bland with no obvious taste. My husband enjoyed his but it didn't live up to being a medium dish, it was more like a korma. Would still try again to give it the benefit of the doubt!

Placed an order for delivery, it arrived before time advised and piping hot, it had lots of flavour and was very very tender with fresh chillies, garlic etc. There was so much meat in both our dishes. We couldn’t fault anything. This has to be...the best Indian takeaway we have had to date.

I’ve been getting takeaways from here for 4 years. They had a bit of a wobble during the autumn of last year but I have to say the last few takeaways have been superb. If you’ve not been for a while it’s definitely worth a...try again.

Staying in the area for a drive into Silverstone we found this restaurant on a Sunday early evening. Tucked away in the oddest little spot it was a real throwback to an old Indian restaurant. Staff great and not overly intrusive, lots of choice, everything you would... expect from an Indian restaurant. Food was really good, portions over right. The total cost was £50 with drinks for two. Good value and highly recommended

We had a retreat this time but have visited several times. I don't understand the bad reviews, either we're just lucky or people are reviewing the wrong establishment! Excellent food as always and delivered quickly and free of charge. I can't believe our happiness moves... in so close to such a beautiful Indian :
