Brew In The Village - Davenport

Attended the wine dinner hosted by Brew tonight. It was fabulous. Chef Travis put on an amazing 5 course meal and the staff was so attentive and friendly!! They will be having more wine dinners throughout the holiday season- I highly suggest giving it a try! Already made my reservation for December 11th!!!

The breakfast flatbread is amazing. Brew is my favorite local place for breakfast and coffee. I love that their food is made in house, fresh, and the specials are always different. The spinach salad is also great as are their rubens. Definitely a unique place that I hope stays open for a very long time.

Stopped in here by chance and it was an awesome experience. We got to watch the chef make almost everything on the menu and it all looks delicious!

We were in town for our nieces wedding on June 9 th (2018), and headed out on June 10th to face our 11 hour drive back to Ontario Canada. It was about 9 am’ish Sunday. I was dying for a coffee so my husband stopped at a gas station and I asked the fellow working there to point us to a COFFEE SHOP. We were about 3 blocks from “Brew.” I loved the decor upon entering!!! It was a rustic bar type space with lots of wood and small chandeliers... shabby sheik. We were greeted by a charismatic, fun woman working there who sat us and brought coffee right away. Upon ordering breakfast food we chatted to her a lot as the “regular Sunday crowd” trickled in. I told her I have a close friend she reminded me so much of, and we laughed as it turned out they had the same name...”Tracy!” We ordered a big breakfast sandwich for my hubs and I had hash brown casserole (which I make at home but theirs tasted better)! With the WONDERFUL coffee flowing and the fun conversation with Tracy, we hated to leave when finished. Our breakfast was so darn good (and reasonably priced) and one of the best cups of Java I have ever had “States side.” . We will return to Davenport in May of next year for niece 2’s wedding, and will be sure to return. Maybe in the evening this time for a pint! Thank you to Tracy for her kindness and fun personality. Wonderful atmosphere and the best service from Kate and Jess. Food was delicious. This place is a must destination.
