Bidrage med feedbackWith so many places to eat, there should be no rush to go here. It’s run of the mill, too expensive based on the lack of value. Of course the Lincoln Road factor is appealing but keep walking if you want good food and service.
The evening was perfect, our waiter Alex was informative, polite and charming, and he projected a convincing sincerity. Along with the fusion of Japanese, Asian and South American cuisine, the background music and atmosphere completely mirrored this approach at all levels. The food arrived promptly was artistically presented and delicious. The waiter was well informed in terms of the nuances of each dish. The setting allows intimate solitude or friendly interaction with other diners without being intrusive. All in all this was one of the best restaurants I have visited, in my many travels across 4 continents.
Great food, I loved the concept. The drinks were absolutely yummy!!!!! All kinds of mojitos and martinis make this place special and totally different than others. Cheers Willie, the best bartender Sushi Samba Dromo. I’ll be back.
We (the 7 of us) had dinner on a Saturday night and we were very surprised that there were a lot of empty seats. We were seated right away and the gentleman with the ;dream catcher ; tattoo waited on us. (Forgot his name, but he did an excellent job of making sure we got drinks and explained the menu) Food was superb! If you are new to sushi, try El Topo. Empanadas were very good. All the maki and hand rolls were excellent. Everything was just mouth-watering to the very end, including the drinks. Interior design was surprisingly lacking luster compared to the Sushi Samba in Chicago and is much smaller. The patrons at Sushi Samba lacked etiquette, as observed on the night we were there. An establishment, such as these, should only cater to folks with better regard to fashion, manners, sophistication, etc. There should be a dress code. In the end, all that really mattered was the food and service.
Their Peruvian corn is incredibly addictive, so be careful—you might find yourself wanting more! I recommend asking for it to be a little extra roasted. And let's not forget the drinks! The Nina Fresa is a delightful blend of strawberries, light and refreshing like a martini, with small pieces of sweet strawberries throughout. The ambiance is perfect, too. You can enjoy a casual meal outside while people-watching or opt for a livelier atmosphere inside that captures the vibrant South Beach party vibe. I highly recommend Sushi Samba to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience!
