Parkside Pub Smokehouse - Dartmouth

It was a nice and cozy pub. The food was decent. I was really impressed by our server (I apologize for forgetting her name), who made a great effort to communicate with us through her body language. It was easy to understand her. Thank you! I also appreciate that the host chose a table for us in a bright area that was perfect for our Deaf culture, where we could see each other using ASL, rather than being seated in a dark corner. Thank you once again!

The service was acceptable, but since we went on trivia night, we felt a bit neglected. The restaurant was quite busy, making it challenging for the staff to give us proper attention. I had to wait quite a while without anyone checking to see if I needed more water, which seems to be a recurring problem in many places lately. On a brighter note, the food was mostly delicious. I even arranged to come back with friends soon, as I really enjoyed the smokehouse club. I definitely recommend trying it out!

On March 24, 2023, we had the pleasure of trying the Dutton Burger during Burger Bash, and it was absolutely delicious. The burger came topped with brisket and hickory sticks, resulting in a fantastic flavor combination. We enjoyed our meal so much that I almost forgot to take a picture before we were halfway through. While we love Mic Mac Bar and Grill, this restaurant certainly gives it a tough competition. I was surprised to find that there were no lines on a Friday night, especially with food this amazing. The service was equally impressive—extremely friendly and attentive. This place definitely deserves more recognition, and we will be coming back for sure!

The pulled pork sandwich is absolutely delicious! We were also fortunate to have an incredible server. My 6-year-old son requested a word search from the kids' menu, which wasn't available. Our server exceeded our expectations by providing him with a whole coloring book and even drew a custom word search just for him. I was genuinely impressed by her thoughtfulness. This is truly a fantastic place!

I ordered the pulled pork mac and cheese, which came with a Caesar salad and garlic bread, all for $20. It was very satisfying and truly delicious!
