Fan's Restaurant - Dartmouth

I love the dim sum at this restaurant. Unfortunately, two of the dishes we wanted to order were already sold out when we arrived. Overall, it was a great dining experience in Halifax. I highly recommend trying the 鹹水角. Food: 4/5.

My friends and I had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant recently. This is the most delicious Chinese cuisine I have had in a while. We began with the dumplings and wontons, which were outstanding. I must say, the wontons were the best I have ever had! Everyone at our table thoroughly enjoyed their meal and we plan on coming back again. The service was excellent too.

I love the Dim Sum at this restaurant. It is very delicious. My family and I have visited many times and will definitely be returning. The only reason I am not giving a perfect rating for the food is because they do not offer mango shrimp rolls, which I have been craving for years. Despite this, their Dim Sum is excellent and we often order takeout to enjoy at home later. This saves us from making the long drive for Dim Sum, as we usually order enough for multiple meals.

I read some people have bad experiences in this place. I am glad we are not one of them. The food was great. Taste is like the authentic chinese food I have tried. I would love to try their dimsum but they only serve it lunch time. Hopefully next time when we get the time to visit NS again. Being consistent with the food taste, quality of food and service is probably one factor that needs improvement with this restaurant. If they can pull it off, this can be one of the restaurant to go to for good authentic chinese restaurant in town.Kid-friendliness: Their menu is kid.friendly.

Great food quality and good portions. Tried some Gluten free options and they are awesome. So nice to have that option for Chinese food.Dietary restrictions: Great gluten free menu options
