Cafe Rouge Bluewater - Dartford

After a hectic work week, we visited the restaurant with our two children. We were all exhausted, but the staff was friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious and fulfilling. We left the restaurant feeling content and went home for a well-deserved rest.

The musical duo at the restaurant was very talented, but the volume was a bit too loud. We found ourselves having to speak loudly to hear each other at times. However, as the evening went on, it became easier to hear, so we may have just gotten used to it. The food selection was great and everything we ordered was delicious. Overall, it was a very enjoyable dining experience.

It took an hour to be served our meal, but to this occasion it was ok to chat with friends. when the food arrived, it could not be failed and the waiting staff was very helpful and friendly

My starter was supposed to be Escargots for which I got a plate of garlicky mushrooms with a few tiny pieces of snails, so the dish was completely inaccurate in its description and would most certainly not have been acceptable by French standards. I was told by the waitress that other diners had complained about the dish but I did not get any response from their Head Office which I approached. I won't be going back to Café Rouge !
