The Carriage House - Darrow

We always love to go to houmas house plantation and the carriage house restaurant. we had a wonderful meal on Saturday night 1/21/23. my man had the gumbo (love him) and I had the carriage house salat. both delicious. we had the lambskin and the grilled chicken, both very recommended. the rooms in which they dine are interesting and beautiful. service is fantastic. Do not miss the brot with the maple pine butter they do. totally delicious and relaxing great culinary experience. also love to go out and out of the restaurant. the bottom of the plantation is perfectly well maintained and beautiful. great gift shop also!

Outstanding starters and menu selections. something for everyone. the quality of the ingredients can be seen from the crab cake to Auberginen-Napoleon. the pumpkin curry bisque is an extraordinary dish. ! friendly staff. beautiful plot. an amazing culinary experience.

Everything about the experience was amazing ! Our server Tyler was exceptional !

Loved the atmosphere, food and service. A must do when visiting Houmas House.
