The Highland Laddie - Darlington

This was my second visit to this restaurant for a Sunday dinner. I started with the prawn cocktail and then had the beef dinner. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The pub was clean and provided a nice atmosphere for enjoying a Sunday meal. They also showed football games, making it a win-win situation.

I went for Sunday lunch. I waited a long time to be served, and the raw vegetables were not worth the wait. I will not be returning again.

The lounge at this charming village pub has been beautifully refurbished. The Sunday lunch is absolutely delicious and the service is top-notch. I will definitely be returning next Sunday for lunch.

I called in this pub for a quick pint on my way home from my sons house I was appalled to see many young lads using drugs in the toilet to which the manager turned a blind eye to. on many occasions I have walked past this pub and seen the manager in many brawls. I would say this pub is used for a lot of young people a lot of who know the manager to be able to use drugs. My advice would be is to avoid this pub at all times unless you like the idea of sitting in a drug den with constant fighting for entertainment. Never again will I step foot in this pub its such a shame as it you used to be a lovely village pub

This place isn't bad at all, cheap beer, a pool table there are a good bunch of regulars and its right on my doorstep!
