Bidrage med feedbackJust off the little village Green this is a relatively small farm shop that seems to specialise in organic produce. There is a decent butchers on-site and although the farm shop has a limited variation of goods on sale, it was interesting to have a look round. The actual cafe closed down during the Covid crisis and they haven’t yet reopened it. We were advised however that they do takeaway hot drinks, snacks etc which you can either enjoy in the garden on a nice day, or in your car otherwise. On a bitterly cold November morn we gave it a miss! I would say that this shop is worth a visit if you are in the area, but I wouldn’t make a special journey.
One of the best ways to relax after a stressful day is by visiting Piercebridge Farm Shop for their delicious sausage rolls. Made with high-quality meat and a secret blend of herbs and spices, they truly are a delightful indulgence. In addition to their sausage rolls, the shop offers a variety of homemade pies, bakes, and cheeses that I also bought today, making this quaint farm shop a paradise for food lovers. The friendly staff only add to the wonderful experience, making it a place I frequent time and time again.
Great shop and great range of services, butchers, shop, post office and at the moment take away from the cafe area. Well worth a visit, the lemon iced ginger cake is truly amazing. The service is always good.
I am a regular customer of this lovely family business farm shop and cafe and I love it. Although the cafe is closed, you can still have a drink and a cake outside in the sitting area which is a little gem. You can also have a light lunch with their new addition, the most delicious homemade sausage rolls I have ever had. That is how sausage rolls should taste. Totally recommend this place. Don't miss it.
My husband and I have just discovered this little gem in Piercebridge. There is a good selection of local produce and interesting biscuits, cakes, pies, desserts, teas and pickles, etc., in the Farm Shop, and a relatively small café. The first time we visited, my husband had the signature dish of chicken stew and mash, and I opted for the warm butternut squash salad with beetroot, cheese and crispy bacon. We were both delighted at our selections, so much so that we haven’t actually tried anything else on the menu! Every time we go we think of having something else, but don’t want to miss out on our favourites! The rest of the menu is mainly ‘snack’ food, but don’t be put off by this, as there are specials too. The cakes look lovely but we’re slimming!! Staff members are very welcoming and friendly and will try to accommodate your preferences.
