Bidrage med feedbackI had the best steak tartare in Sydney at this restaurant. The foie gras was also amazing, served with a delicious poached pear and brioche. The ribeye steak and beef cheek were both tender and generously portioned. For dessert, we enjoyed a chocolate lava cake paired with a glass of muscat, a very aromatic dessert wine. The service was outstanding, with a welcoming French gentleman who seemed to be the owner. We had a wonderful night and will definitely return. Thank you for a great experience.
This cozy restaurant and bar is hidden off the main street and definitely worth a visit. We enjoyed a delicious and generous antipasto board, followed by large main courses. I highly recommend the parpadelle with lamb ragu. Despite being too full for dessert, we found the bill to be reasonable. The waiter was friendly, helpful, and attentive without being intrusive. Overall, a delightful dining experience!
This place was one of our favourites! Good character, good food, great service and just wonderful! However the recent renovations have turned it into a terrible and horrible experience.... The food was overcooked with no flavour!! The new chef needs to learn about salt and pepper! We had a view of the kitchen and the signature oscoboco was not even cooked in the sauce the chef was spooning it on to the plate! The meat was a cheap cut and overcooked it wasn't falling off!!The service was terrible the girl spilled something and didn't come back and clean it up!! The place now feels like a doctors surgery all white bright lights and just ****! We will not be coming back and will hold on to the wonderful memories pre renovation!!
Our work Christmas dinner at La Pesa was fantastic once again. Fred and Christoph provided excellent service and the food was top-notch. The smoked trout and caviar entree was heavenly, the rabbit ragu was as delicious as always, and the desserts were amazing. We can't wait to come back again.
Nice food, friendly attentive service. According to the menu, offers 'Homemade pasta'. Had truffle and porcini, which was very nice. Just around the corner to the Pullman.
